Statue of Liberty Reopens
After a year of renovations, the interior of the Statue of Liberty will reopen on Sunday, October 28. Visitors to New York Harbor’s iconic national monument will be allowed inside on a limited basis until the entire renovation project is completed at the end of 2012. The opening date coincides with the statue’s 126th birthday.
